TL;DR

What you will do

  • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS, channel, vendor, and privacy contracts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Information Security, Procurement, and other teams to align legal strategies with business goals.
  • Triage and manage end-to-end contract lifecycle from intake to reporting.
  • Maintain legal processes for consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Lead implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and technology improvements.
  • Handle ad hoc legal projects, develop training materials, and support team initiatives.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing
  • 5+ years practicing law, including 2+ years in-house experience
  • Expertise in commercial contracting and corporate law; SaaS/technology sector preferred
  • Familiarity with data privacy, IP, and regulations (HIPAA, FERPA, GDPR)
  • Ability to integrate AI tools into legal workflows
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive mindset comfortable with ambiguity and building processes
