Premium Auditor (Hybrid)

TL;DR

Premium Auditor (Hybrid): Conducting insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by auditing policyholder’s records and applying manual rules and company standards. Focus on examining financial documents for fraud detection, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing complete audit reports with accurate business classifications.

Hybrid: work from home with remote audits 2-3 days per week and required travel to audit locations 2-4 days per week within assigned territory. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required.

$44-$46 per billable hour

What you will do

• Conduct premium audits by reviewing policyholder records and applying rules for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies.
• Prepare audits by identifying needed records and scheduling to optimize time.
• Communicate with insured via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
• Examine records to determine business classifications and write operation descriptions.
• Prepare audit documents, explain results to insured, and report to home office.
• Travel to multiple audit locations regularly.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years performing premium audits or equivalent experience highly desired.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
• General PC knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word; Visual Audit knowledge a plus.
• Ability to communicate well with customers and staff.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; maintain automobile insurance with specified limits.
