What you will do

• Design, develop, and test new backend features.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure for a cloud-based Kubernetes application.
• Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Support integration of scientific software and algorithms into production systems.
• Operate independently to determine, design, and develop optimal technical solutions.

Requirements

• Must be located within the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia).
• Must be able to obtain a US government clearance.
• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes deployment and administration.
• Linux systems administration and Docker containers experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Golang and Python programming.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, and PostGIS.
