Educational Psychologist

Location: United Kingdom; hybrid and flexible working options available. Workspaces are based at Town Hall, Romford, Essex.

Salary: £55,723–£65,423 per year, plus £2,509 Outer London Allowance and up to 3 SPA points.

What you will do

• Provide psychological support to schools, colleges, special provisions and SEND settings.
• Deliver early intervention and capacity-building work with link schools and settings.
• Contribute to training, consultation, organisational change and policy work.
• Support children, young people and families through the SEND service and Team Around the School approach.
• Work on projects and additional responsibilities involving services such as the Virtual School, Youth Justice Service, Housing Service and Family Hubs.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of the SEND Training Offer.

Requirements

• Qualified Educational Psychologist or Trainee Educational Psychologist in the final year of training.
• Commitment to applying psychology to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, interdisciplinary and child-centred service.
• Commitment to anti-racist practice.
• An enhanced DBS check is required.
