What you will do
- Identify and qualify potential customers through inbound channels based on the ideal customer profile.
- Execute region-specific growth strategies to expand Wati’s footprint in LATAM.
- Engage prospects via email, phone, and WhatsApp to educate them on the value proposition.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing to hand off qualified leads and optimize campaigns.
- Maintain accurate lead records in CRM systems and provide regular updates to the regional team.
- Test new outreach tactics and gather market feedback to shape go-to-market messaging.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in SaaS or tech.
- Must be based in Latin America (e.g., Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina).
- Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish is required.
- Intermediate English level for internal communication.
- Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- Background as an SDR/AE in SaaS with a focus on conversational marketing.
- Consultative sales mindset and resilience in handling objections.
