What you will do

• Light levels in an optimized manner across multiple platforms, specifically Quest VR.
• Implement golden path lighting to guide players through objectives and highlight points of interest.
• Work closely with the Art Director and Leads to develop and maintain the artistic vision.
• Collaborate with other departments to create captivating and memorable visuals.
• Create and maintain comprehensive lighting documentation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in industry-standard lighting tools, specifically Unreal Engine.
• Experience working with Baked Lighting Pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of PBR Workflow.
• Working knowledge of materials and environment art connected to lighting (lightmaps, HDRI setup, material lighting modes, light functions).
• Ability to optimize lighting performance to maintain baking times and frame rates across platforms.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Substance Designer for texture editing.
• Lighting Technical Art knowledge.
