What you will do

• Lead a team of engineers building core application platform infrastructure used by every service at hirify.global.
• Own and drive the technical roadmap for one or more platform pillars.
• Drive multi-quarter execution on high-impact platform initiatives.
• Hire, mentor, and support engineers in their career development and growth into leadership roles.
• Institute processes and a culture of engineering excellence to ensure high technical standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to coordinate execution across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems, service frameworks, or platform infrastructure.
• 2+ years of engineering management experience leading strong technical teams.
• Proven track record of attracting, hiring, and retaining top engineering talent.
• Experience being responsible for testing, quality, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Experience building and running cloud platforms or a strong ability to learn the SaaS space.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
