What you will do

• Conceptualize, model, and texture high-quality characters to tell compelling stories.
• Maintain core fundamentals including solid topology, clean geometry, and precise UV mapping.
• Develop facial blendshapes and wrinkle maps for expressive characters.
• Execute hair authoring using both full strand-based techniques and hair cards.
• Create hard surface elements as part of character designs.
• Collaborate within the Character Art team to deliver production-ready assets.

Requirements

• Professional industry experience as a Character Artist with at least one published game.
• Expert proficiency in Maya and Zbrush, and a strong foundation in Photoshop.
• Deep knowledge of human anatomy, form, shape, and composition.
• Portfolio demonstrating versatility and a wide range of artistic styles.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Liverpool, UK

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Unreal Engine 4/5.
• Experience with Marvelous Designer or scan development pipelines.
