Environment Artist (Unreal Engine 5): Creating high-quality stylized environments, props, and modular kits for the open-world survival game RuneScape: Dragonwilds with an accent on scalable world-building pipelines and exaggerated realism. Location: Cambridge, UK. Must be based in or be willing to relocate within a comfortable commuting distance of the Cambridge office to attend onsite as required.

What you will do

• Create and implement high-quality environment assets, props, and level art in Unreal Engine 5.
• Build modular kits and reusable assets to support scalable open-world development.
• Perform modelling, texturing, and material creation aligned to a stylized visual direction.
• Manage the full production cycle from concept support to final in-engine implementation.
• Collaborate with art leadership and review outsourced content to ensure quality and style.
• Optimize assets for performance within a large, interconnected game world.

Requirements

• Experience with Unreal Engine and industry-standard 3D tools such as Maya, ZBrush, and Substance.
• Generalist skillset covering level art, prop creation, modelling, and texturing.
• Proven experience working on open-world or large-scale environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating stylized environments or exaggerated realism.
• Experience integrating and reviewing outsourced assets within a production pipeline.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the UK (Cambridge area).

Nice to have

• Experience with lighting.
• Ability to support concept art.
