What you will do

• Set and maintain high standards for character art quality across the project.
• Define and maintain the visual direction for characters in collaboration with art leadership.
• Lead and optimize character pipelines, workflows, and best practices.
• Mentor and support character artists across various experience levels.
• Ensure characters meet technical, performance, and platform requirements.
• Coordinate with outsourcing partners, providing feedback and quality checks.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in an art role within the games industry.
• Portfolio showcasing high-quality relevant character art work.
• Proven experience leading character art direction and delivery.
• Strong skills in character modelling, texturing, and material creation.
• Confidence in collaborating across disciplines and communicating clearly.
• Must be based in the UK.
