What you will do

• Define the multi-year technical vision for next-generation marketing platforms across the organization.
• Architect high-scale, real-time platforms for bidding, experimentation, decisioning, and creative systems.
• Design autonomous systems for planning, optimization, and execution workflows using AI and automation.
• Lead cross-domain initiatives to simplify fragmented systems into cohesive, extensible platforms.
• Partner with product, science, and business leaders to shape investment priorities and long-term strategy.
• Mentor and sponsor senior engineers to raise the engineering bar across the organization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven track record of defining technical strategy and influencing adoption across multiple organizations.
• Deep expertise in system architecture and data-intensive platforms at scale.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to lead ambiguous, high-stakes technical initiatives from concept to production.
• Must be based in or able to work from Seattle, WA.

Nice to have

• Experience building production AI/ML-driven or agent-enabled systems.
• Domain expertise in AdTech, marketing technology, or optimization platforms.
• History of creating architectural patterns adopted organization-wide.
