Salary: $82,300 - $220,000

What you will do

• Develop and implement next-generation digital engineering data architectures.
• Architect and upgrade database schemas to support complex system lifecycles.
• Integrate diverse data sources and transactions across project areas.
• Lead small multidisciplinary teams and align them with program goals.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret preferred).
• 5-10 years of experience as a systems engineer or in a related role.
• 2-4 years of experience in digital engineering using systems engineering principles.
• Thorough knowledge and proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and experience architecting databases.
• Strong communication skills for technical and stakeholder engagement.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics.
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, and React.
• Knowledge of SysML, STPA, and simulation-based performance analysis.
• Experience with digital twin and digital thread development.
