Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to New York, NY (Hybrid: at least 3 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend features and APIs for core AI products.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of distributed systems powering inference and billing.
• Implement secure and scalable architectures in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in technical standards and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and AI/ML teams to deliver model-as-a-service solutions.
• Tackle complex engineering challenges related to AI product integration and observability.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, Kotlin, or C#.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, caching, messaging systems, and distributed architectures.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to ship end-to-end features with minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication and collaborative attitude.
• Must be based in or open to relocating to New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Full-stack exposure and experience working with an API & developer ecosystem.
• Experience deploying software to cloud or on-premises environments.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• AI/ML engineering experience.
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
