Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem to transform urban mobility.

What you will do

• Analyze robot platform issues spanning from the initial build to field runs.
• Identify root causes of issues and recommend improvements to the validation methodology.
• Implement LLMs and AI tools for issue analysis and the creation of monitoring dashboards.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, manufacturing, supply chain, and fleet operations teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in a relevant engineering field.
• Knowledge of Python and AI-based coding tools/LLMs.
• Understanding of basic electronic hardware validation principles.
• Ability to commit to 20 hours per week for 6 months.
• Located in Foster City, CA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Automotive ECUs.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Polarion, and Testrail.
• Familiarity with robot Verification & Validation (V&V) methods.
