Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Mossville, IL, USA. Onsite five days a week.

Salary: $147,760 - $240,110

What you will do

• Design and implement autonomous machine systems from initial requirements through to final production.
• Evaluate and select state-of-the-art technology solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and platform teams to decompose solutions into actionable delivery activities.
• Perform risk and benefit analysis and execute phased delivery plans via simulation, PoC, and production release.
• Triage and resolve complex system-level issues discovered during development, validation, or production.
• Coordinate with global engineering teams to deliver scalable products within the technology portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proven experience bringing production products through design, implementation, and customer rollout.
• Deep knowledge of Autonomous Systems, preferably with centralized control system architectures.
• Ability to translate complex customer needs into achievable technical requirements.
• Must work onsite five days a week in Mossville, IL.
• Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with Robotics or Autonomous projects.
• Familiarity with C++, Python, and development in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of safety frameworks such as Functional Safety or SOTIF.
• Experience with Simulation tools, SiL, and HiL test methods.
• Background in mining, construction, or agricultural machinery.
