What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN.
• Configure and manage virtual networks, storage, and other virtualization components.
• Administer VMware View, Disaster Recovery, vMotion, P2V, P2P, V2V, and VMware Update Manager.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the VMware vSphere environment for performance and availability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for the VMware vSphere environment.
• Integrate vCenter with AD, DNS, and backup applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer programming, or similar.
• Experience in managing Red Hat RHEL Operating Systems.
• Strong technical proficiency in VMware vSphere administration.
• Location: Must be based in Dallas, TX for onsite work.
• Employment: W2 only, NO C2C.

Nice to have

• VMWare Certified Professional.
• Experience with KVM or Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Virtualization and Hypervisor security, including hardening techniques.
• Experience in managing relationships with vendors.
