What you will do

• Lead applied research on foundation models using proprietary financial datasets.
• Design model architectures, pretraining objectives, and fine-tuning strategies that generalize across product use cases.
• Build and maintain end-to-end production ML systems, including training pipelines, serving infrastructure, and monitoring.
• Develop robust evaluation frameworks to assess model performance across diverse tasks.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate ML capabilities into the wider product suite.

Requirements

• Strong applied ML research skills with proven production delivery experience.
• Deep expertise in Transformers, LLMs, representation learning, or large-scale model training.
• Proficiency in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with distributed training.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, New York, or Seattle (Hybrid)
