What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models for business decisions and customer financial goals.
• Partner with business leaders and technical experts to develop new data sources and improve modeling.
• Apply models with sound risk management in production systems.
• Mentor data scientists on operationalizing and evaluating models.
• Share best practices in software engineering and PyData stack.

Requirements

• Located in the United States
• PhD in quantitative field + 3+ years or BS/MS + 7+ years in related role
• Created, deployed, and managed supervised learning models in production
• Generalist motivated by practical solutions, solid software engineering fundamentals (TDD, code review, refactoring)
• Experience with PyData stack (numpy, scikit-learn, pandas) and tools like Spark, Kubernetes, Airflow, MLFlow

Nice to have

• Experience building end-to-end predictive models
• Experience in consumer lending or fintech
• Interest in neural networks for time series classification
