Accounting Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end AP process, including invoice receipt, GL coding, approval routing, and payment execution.
• Lead month-end close activities by preparing AP accruals and reconciling the AP subledger to the general ledger.
• Administer the corporate card program, manage spending limits, and perform employee expense reviews.
• Manage billing and invoicing processes, collaborating with Sales to ensure accurate revenue recognition alignment.
• Build and optimize internal accounting processes, transitioning them from an external firm to the internal stack.
• Maintain vendor master data, including W-9 collection and annual 1099 preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience with a strong focus on accounts payable.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with cloud-based ERP or accounting platforms.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• CPA candidate or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
• Experience with Salesforce (CRM) and billing workflows.
• Experience supporting quote-to-cash or order-to-cash processes.
