What you will do
- Execute sales strategies in the Americas to drive new business within research labs and universities.
- Build and mentor a high-performing account team to land and expand business in target accounts.
- Identify use cases for quantum computing and engage with faculty, researchers, and grant sources.
- Co-lead demand generation activities, including representing the company at conferences and seminars.
- Manage the full deal lifecycle, from RFI/RFP submissions to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with technical and learning solutions teams to tailor value propositions for customers.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 15+ years of experience selling high-value enterprise SaaS in research applications, data analytics, or data science.
- Proven track record of growing bookings from first customer to $5M+ yearly.
- PhD degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%+), including international travel within the Americas.
- Strong existing relationships with leading research labs and universities.
