Principal Software Engineer (AI)

Hybrid role: expectation of working from New York office 3 days per week

Salary: $261,000 - $353,000 (New York)

What you will do

• Drive velocity by identifying and accelerating key customer, business, and technology opportunities across the company.
• Lead end-to-end technology initiatives, including horizontal architecture layers and durable software solutions.
• Partner cross-functionally to influence end-to-end solutions based on customer behaviors and AI applicability.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, secure technical solutions balancing short- and long-term objectives.
• Contribute to engineering community standards, patterns, best practices, and emerging technology recommendations.

Requirements

• 10+ years developing systems/software for large business environments
• 7+ years designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications
• Full-stack development experience with AI technologies applied to user experiences or backend solutions
• Experience with AI tools like SageMaker, LangChain, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, Python
• Experience with front-end (React, Angular, SwiftUI, Kotlin) or back-end (Java, Typescript, Spring, Express) technologies
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related area
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills; experience with global teams

Nice to have

• Prior experience in AWS/GCP cloud environments
• Experience building AI-native applications for 1+ years
