What you will do

• Enhance the AWS Neuron software stack to accelerate adoption of ML accelerators.
• Develop ML/RL approaches for kernel/code generation and optimization.
• Create advanced compiler techniques for ML workloads.
• Build tools for accuracy and reliability validation.
• Design high-performance kernels optimized for specific ML architectures.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML or related fields.
• Proven track record of patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences/journals.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, or distributed computing.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in the USA (Cupertino, CA).

Nice to have

• Experience in state-of-the-art deep learning model architecture design.
• Expertise in deep learning training, optimization, and model pruning.
• Experience building ML models for business applications.
