IT Specialist (Medtech)

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for incoming hardware and software queries.
• Triage, assign, and resolve support tickets while documenting solutions in the knowledge base.
• Manage the setup of new user accounts and perform hardware and software installations.
• Ensure organizational compliance with HIPAA, SOC2, and HITRUST regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours support as needed by the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience/certifications.
• At least 2 years of IT Helpdesk support experience in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Single Sign-On (SSO), and mobile device management (MDM) tools.
• Valid US work authorization (no sponsorship provided now or in the future).
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
