Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Manage SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and other security systems.
• Monitor, analyze, and triage security events, alerts, and logs to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident response activities, including containment, eradication, recovery, documentation, root-cause analysis, and remediation recommendations.
• Manage bug bounty submissions, code-scanning results, vulnerability findings, scanning, segmentation testing, and penetration-testing programs.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed shift-left security practices, DevSecOps, secure coding, and CI/CD security.
• Administer IAM systems, enforce least privilege and segregation of duties, maintain privileged-account controls, and create security metrics and reporting dashboards.

Requirements

• Senior security experience with a proven track record of leadership and mentorship.
• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication, access control, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
• In-depth experience with SIEM, IDS, vulnerability scanners, cloud security, and incident response and forensics.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of technology project/program management experience.
