Senior Information Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote, with flexibility within ±1 hour of CET. Madrid HQ, Spain.

What you will do

• Own and improve incident management, threat detection, SIEM alert investigation, and detection playbooks.
• Reduce SIEM noise and improve email security, logging, visibility, and evidence collection.
• Define, implement, and monitor security measures, guides, tooling, processes, and standards.
• Monitor cloud security configurations across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform using CSPM.
• Work with DevOps to integrate security into cloud deployment environments and pipelines.
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, security reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SecOps, cloud security, incident response, security engineering, or a similar role.
• At least 3 years of experience in threat analysis, SIEM alert investigation, detection creation, noise reduction, and incident management.
• 2 years of experience with CSPM.
• At least 3 years of experience in a cloud-based, global technology product company.
• Experience with EDR/XDR tools, endpoint investigation, vulnerability management, and risk-based prioritization.
