What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the QMS in compliance with NADCAP, AS9100, and other applicable standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for NADCAP audits, including preparation, execution, and corrective action management.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation such as procedures, work instructions, and process flows.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using 8D, 5 Whys, and FMEA methodologies.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to embed quality standards into production processes.
• Manage internal audit programs and ensure compliance of special processes (e.g., heat treating, coatings, welding, NDT).

Requirements

• Strong professional background in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of special process controls and hands-on experience managing audits and quality certifications.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis tools including 8D, 5 Whys, and FMEA.
• Must be able to work on-site in Hampstead, MD.
