QA Documentation Specialist (QMS)

Salary: $60,000 - $90,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and policies.
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Manage document control processes, including versioning, approvals, and distribution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine process documentation.
• Prepare the organization for ISO 9001 certification through gap assessments and audit readiness.
• Participate in internal audits and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in quality assurance, documentation control, or a related field.
• Experience building and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and experience participating in ISO audits.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
• Proficiency with document management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated environments such as manufacturing, aerospace, or electronics.
• Exposure to MIL standards (e.g., MIL-STD).
• Knowledge of export compliance requirements (ITAR/EAR).
• Experience supporting certification processes.
