What you will do

• Provide 1:1 virtual coaching sessions to Mento members via the company platform.
• Collaborate with research engineering leaders to identify and track professional goals.
• Participate in an ICF-certified coach training program to master the Mento Coaching Methodology.
• Engage with the Mento coaching community by sharing tools, insights, and best practices.
• Maintain ongoing communication with members via email and chat between sessions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading technical research teams in AI/ML, health tech, space tech, or adjacent fields.
• Expertise in theoretical and applied AI/ML, large-scale modeling, computer science, or mathematical sciences.
• Based in North America or Europe.
• Ability to dedicate at least 12+ hours per month (3-5 hours per week).
• Commitment to work with Mento for a minimum of 24 months.

Nice to have

• PhD in a relevant technical field.
• Track record of publications, patents, or leadership in top research organizations.
• Previous experience in people leadership and professional coaching.
