TL;DR

Account Manager - SMB (SaaS): Managing a high-volume portfolio of SMB customers to drive expansion and new product adoption with an accent on structured discovery and account strategy. Focus on hitting growth targets, increasing customer lifetime value, and scaling repeatable engagement models.

Location: Hybrid (Cambridge, UK) — requires 2-3 days in the office per week

Salary: £50k - £58k OTE

What you will do

  • Manage a high-volume portfolio of 200–500 SMB accounts, driving expansion and new product adoption.
  • Conduct structured discovery to identify customer needs and maturity to maximize hirify.global's value.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to align account strategies and increase long-term customer value.
  • Execute a repeatable engagement model to manage multiple opportunities in parallel.
  • Build strong relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders while maintaining pipeline visibility.
  • Consistently hit or exceed growth targets within the SMB segment.

Requirements

  • Experience in a quota-carrying Account Manager or Account Executive role.
  • Proven track record of driving expansion within an existing customer base.
  • Strong skills in discovery, product demonstrations, and commercial communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a large portfolio of accounts.
  • Collaborative mindset with high attention to detail and commercial judgment.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling multi-product SaaS solutions in growth or expansion-focused models.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, DevOps tooling, or usage-led account prioritization.
