What you will do

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Utilize SolidWorks to design, test, and validate manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Lead the implementation of new technologies specifically for battery and fuel cell production.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with government regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve process reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, for seamless integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Sparks, MD.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Experience with battery or fuel cell technologies.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated manufacturing processes and robotics.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
• Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
