.NET Engineer

TL;DR

.NET Engineer (Backend): Perform back-end development to meet business needs for a global payments platform with an accent on cloud-based microservices and Agile collaboration. Focus on implementing components, participating in design and code reviews, writing tests, and fixing bugs.

Location: Hybrid work setup based in Málaga, Spain

What you will do

• Develop back-end components in modern cloud-based microservices environments under supervision
• Participate in design decisions, solution development, and code reviews in an international Agile team
• Document code with technical documents and diagrams
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests
• Proactively improve processes and investigate/fix application bugs

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Software Development experience using C# and .NET
• Solid understanding of OOP and Design Patterns
• Experience with ORMs (e.g., EntityFramework) and unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit)
• Experience with troubleshooting, profiling, and debugging applications

Nice to have

• Understanding of SQL (e.g., MSSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases
• Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, protocols, REST conventions, and authentication/authorization flows
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
