What you will do

• Build and validate precision opto-mechanical assemblies following procedures.
• Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
• Use torque wrenches, electric/pneumatic screwdrivers, and other tools for mechanical assembly.
• Execute standardized process inspections and tests throughout production.
• Enter and audit data in company databases; interface with engineers for special builds.
• Operate precision cleaning machinery, prepare assemblies for shipment, and identify discrepant material.
• Recommend improvements and provide guidance to team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, follow assembly procedures and BOM.
• Skilled in using electric, pneumatic, and hand tools.
• Perform in-process quality inspections.
• General computer skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Work under deadlines; collaborate to resolve issues.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of assembly experience.
• Experience with precision optical components, ESD, electro-optical/opto-mechanical systems, environmental testing.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
