Electrical Assembler (Avionics)

What you will do

• Assemble circuit card assemblies, avionics units, wire harnesses, and electrical ground support equipment.
• Perform high-reliability soldering, crimping, board repairs, and jumper installations on complex sub-assemblies.
• Work with multi-pin connectors meeting stringent government and customer specifications.
• Set up and operate SMT pick-and-place and selective solder machines.
• Integrate circuit cards into top-level avionics units, apply staking and coatings.
• Interpret drawings, BOMs, work instructions; follow ESD protocols and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot and rework avionics products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in electrical assembly and soldering.
• Expertise in crimping, board-level repair, electronic units.
• Familiarity with J-STD, IPC 610/620 standards, torque/crimping tools.
• Onsite in Phoenix/Gilbert, AZ; US export-controlled access required.

Nice to have

• NASA soldering certification.
• Experience with avionics components, rework, coating.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration.
