Electrical Technician

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical control problems across all manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions using electronic and PLC techniques.
• Perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and parts.
• Study equipment manuals to develop audit items and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assist in the installation, proper layout, and alignment of new equipment.
• Research and present solutions for control problems and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance position.
• Demonstrated experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Strong electrical knowledge regarding circuit breakers and fixtures.
• High level of PLC experience, preferably with Allen Bradley (SLC 500, RSlogix 5/500/5000, PLC5, ControlLogix, Mircologix, and Panelview).
