Salary: $152,100 - $232,900 (California Bay Area)

What you will do

• Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform and public clouds like Azure.
• Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting with tools like Splunk, DataDog, ElasticSearch.
• Handle on-call duties, incident response, post-mortems, and modern SRE practices including SLO/SLI and tracing.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and ensure system reliability for high-scale distributed systems.
• Optimize cloud platforms for performance, security, and scalability in vehicle software ecosystems.

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on DevOps experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP
• Expertise in Terraform, Bash/PowerShell/Python/Go, and monitoring frameworks (Logstash, Splunk, DataDog, ElasticSearch, Kibana)
• Strong CS fundamentals: OO, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems
• On-call and firefighting experience; modern SRE practices (post-mortems, SLO/SLI, tracing, synthetic monitoring)
• Located in or able to work hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA; no GM immigration sponsorship (H-1B, OPT, etc.)

• Azure platform management expertise
• Docker, Kubernetes, Chef/Ansible, GitHub/Azure DevOps CI/CD
• Network security knowledge (TLS, SAML, PKI, VPN, firewalls, Zero Trust)
• Git/Bitbucket source control proficiency
