What you will do

• Maintain and scale Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability for thousands of pods across multiple clusters.
• Implement automatic fast auto-scaling to support live rides and large-scale special events.
• Serve as a domain expert in observability and monitoring to ensure optimal system health.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Consult on system design to meet reliability, capacity, and operational security requirements.
• Conduct thorough post-mortems of infrastructure incidents to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining scalable and stable Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code utilities such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD, Harness, Tekton).
• Knowledge of security and observability best practices for Kubernetes at scale.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Golang, Java, or C.
• Must be based in or able to work from the New York City headquarters.
