Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 USD

What you will do

• Ensure availability, latency, and performance by setting and maintaining SLOs, SLIs, and Error Budgets.
• Develop and extend an automated multi-environment observability stack to predict capacity needs.
• Manage production stability and perform incident management, RCAs, and service restoration.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce toil and increase development velocity.
• Collaborate with Security and Platform teams to enhance the overall security posture.
• Implement and manage observability tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong background as an SRE supporting 24x7 highly available SaaS or cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and Kubernetes/Docker.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Deep understanding of modern cloud security best practices and Linux/Windows systems.
• Experience implementing observability plans (logs, metrics, traces) using tools like Splunk or New Relic.
