What you will do

• Lead on-site installations as the primary technical contact, directing third-party contractors to ensure high-quality execution.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in real-time under pressure to resolve technical challenges.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance services across various client sites.
• Review and verify site layouts using AutoCAD to ensure technical feasibility and accuracy.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including installation and service reports.
• Manage client expectations and provide professional customer service as the face of the company in the field.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Field Engineer or Technician in hardware/software installation and deployment.
• Proven experience leading technical teams or contractors during installations.
• Hands-on skills in civil works, networking, electrical wiring, and mechanical assemblies.
• Working knowledge of Linux-based systems and basic networking principles.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD or Autodesk to interpret and generate site layouts.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 90% across the US.

Nice to have

• Experience working within startup environments.
• Certified electrician diploma or a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry.
• Additional knowledge of scripting or advanced troubleshooting.
