What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations of grading, paving, and site development projects.
• Supervise multiple field crews and coordinate subcontractors across job sites.
• Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and process change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor to optimize efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in grading, earthwork, or sitework construction.
• 2+ years of experience in a Project Manager or leadership role.
• Strong background in commercial paving, roadwork, or heavy civil projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Rockville, MD.

Nice to have

• Experience with highways, road construction, parking lots, or large-scale site development.
• Background in mass grading and excavation operations.
• Familiarity with change order management and project documentation processes.
