What you will do

• Own and evolve core elements of the web and app design system, including patterns, guidelines, and usage principles.
• Define clear system boundaries and guardrails to balance flexibility with standardization.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and external agencies to ensure proper system adoption.
• Lead design reviews focused on system alignment, quality, and long-term scalability.
• Translate system intent into clear guidance, documentation, and decision frameworks for teams.
• Champion accessibility and inclusivity as non-negotiable system qualities.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US; no immigration sponsorship provided.
• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, systems design, or design systems roles.
• Demonstrated experience owning large-scale design systems across multiple products or platforms.
• Deep expertise in Figma-based system management and modern design workflows.
• Strong portfolio showing system-level thinking and decision-making frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communications, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of professional experience in relevant design roles.
• Experience with global brands, complex brand architectures, or federated organizations.
• Background in automotive, enterprise platforms, or large-scale digital ecosystems.
• Experience defining governance models, review processes, or contribution frameworks.
