What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end design process from initial research and concept development to prototyping and final implementation.
- Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing, to deeply understand community needs.
- Translate research insights into clear wireframes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms using Figma.
- Build and evolve design systems and patterns to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products.
- Partner closely with product and engineering teams to balance business goals with technical feasibility.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into iterative improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating user-centered thinking.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and design systems.
- Strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
- Experience working within cross-functional, agile teams.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco, CA.
