TL;DR

QA Engineer: Ensuring quality, reliability, and performance of mobile applications with an accent on robust automated tests and API testing processes. Focus on developing scalable testing strategies, detecting bugs, verifying feature implementations, and validating software stability before deployment.

Fully onsite position based at the office in Lisbon, Portugal. Open to support with relocation efforts.

What you will do

  • Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Conduct API tests and automation using Postman, including creating and maintaining documentation.
  • Create and execute automated regression, functional, performance, and API tests.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Document and report bugs, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
  • Validate feature compliance, identify edge cases and performance issues, and work with cross-functional teams to improve software quality.

Requirements

  • Around 3+ years of experience in manual and functional testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
  • Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray).
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright).
  • Strong experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Bugzilla) and API testing (e.g., Postman).
  • Experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS & Android) in an agile environment.
