What you will do
- Build and expand high-performing engineering teams through strategic hiring, coaching, and development.
- Cultivate consistent culture, purpose, and unified ways of working across distributed teams.
- Champion technology stability, evolution, and platform KPIs as part of the roadmap.
- Support prioritization, forecasting, and planning of portfolio initiatives aligned with strategy.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and other functions to ensure best practices in PDLC.
- Mentor engineers, promote accountability, and contribute to engineering leadership community.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading engineering organizations in high-growth and transformation environments.
- Track record building scalable, reliable complex software solutions.
- Strong experience with engineering principles, best practices, Agile, DevOps methodologies, coding standards.
- High-level knowledge of architecture and application security principles.
- Experience with stakeholders for hiring strategies and developing quality teams.
- People-oriented with focus on leadership development and continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Experience with data platforms, data engineering, streaming, real-time processing (Kafka, Flink).
- Analytical skills for interpreting data and actionable insights.
- Proven ability to push projects to completion and leverage networking.
