What you will do

• Perform structural analysis to develop new architectures and variants.
• Drive design through analyses, provide direction to partners, and confirm performance.
• Create and execute FEA plans, lead CAE suppliers and resources to meet milestones.
• Recommend mass- and cost-efficient design solutions for performance issues.
• Interface with SMT, validation, NVH, and safety teams to balance structure requirements.
• Conduct topology optimization and implement enablers into math models.
• Participate in PDTs for technical guidance based on CAE analysis.
• Plan and implement projects to enhance virtual methods and process automation.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Undergraduate coursework in Strength of Materials and Engineering Mechanics.
• 2+ years’ experience in Linear Analysis (NASTRAN/OPTISTRUCT or equivalent), Quasi-Static Analysis (LS DYNA), and optimization tools (Genesis).
• Familiarity with CAE modeling tools.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• MS in Engineering.
• 4+ years’ experience in specified analysis tools.
• Participation in collegiate teams like Baja SAE, Formula SAE, or EcoCAR.
• Familiarity with UG-NX CAD & CAE tools.
• Experience with SDM/PLM systems like Teamcenter.
• Experience with Python and/or C/C++ for automation.
