What you will do

• Support product engineers during the pre-launch and process validation phase.
• Review customer specifications and validation test procedures.
• Organize read across meetings and prepare lessons learned documentation.
• Create and maintain validation trackers.
• Review technical drawings and perform stack up analysis.
• Manage and track shipments of pre-series and PV sample parts.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a 4-year accredited university majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
• Class standing: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be based in Troy, MI, US.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in CATIA, Solid Works, MS Office, MATLab, C++/C, HyperWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus, or Patran.
• Previous internship experience within the automotive industry.
