What you will do

• Perform failure analysis and troubleshoot complex systemic issues across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
• Execute predictive reliability analysis to identify and forecast potential failure modes in the vehicle fleet.
• Partner with hardware and software teams to implement reliability growth plans and translate field data into design improvements.
• Manage and analyze field performance data using SQL and Python to fuel rapid engineering iterations.
• Collaborate across Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing to close the loop on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions (CAPA).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering.
• 3-10 years of experience in Field Quality, Reliability Engineering, or technical Service Engineering within the EV or automotive space.
• Proficiency in reliability methodologies (e.g., Weibull analysis, FMEA, FTA) and data tools like SQL or Python.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and CANalyzer/CANoe.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Must be based in Garden Grove, CA.
