Salary: $212,000 — $265,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead team on data projects for Notifications, Messaging, Hosting Services, and Partner Ecosystem, covering ingestion, processing, and reporting.
• Collaborate with ML team to build batch, intraday, and streaming pipelines enabling AI features and real-time needs.
• Drive development and governance of key metrics with Analytics and Product teams.
• Partner cross-functionally to prioritize data initiatives, resolve pain points, and integrate data seamlessly.
• Streamline practices, advocate best engineering standards, monitor system health, and mentor engineers.
• Align priorities with org goals and senior leadership.

Requirements

• 9+ years industry experience in data engineering and analytics engineering.
• 4+ years managing data engineering teams, mentoring talent.
• Proficiency in data processing (batch/streaming), SQL, ETL schedulers (Airflow, Dagster).
• Experience driving cross-team projects enabling ML features and collaborating with ML/AI teams.
• Track record designing, building, and governing business metrics across products.
• Strong technical/strategic vision, product sense, communication skills.
