Salary: From $290,000 to $300,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead and mentor the Field Medical Affairs team as a core member of Medical Affairs Leadership, providing guidance across functions.
- Develop and implement US field medical plans, external engagement strategies, and team structure in partnership with Medical Leads.
- Recruit, train, and manage Regional Medical Directors (RMDs), overseeing their performance, expertise, and external activities like scientific exchange and clinical trial support.
- Compile and report key insights from field medical interactions and manage budget and processes compliantly.
- Partner cross-functionally for congress planning, execution, and strategic relationships with thought leaders, societies, and advocacy groups.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) in medical/science field or equivalent significant experience
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech Medical Affairs, with experience managing direct reports and vendor/project management
- Experience in thoracic and/or neuro-oncology preferred
- Proven matrix teamwork, leadership, decision-making, scientific acumen, and communication skills
- Understanding of drug development phases, legal/regulatory environment, and adaptability in fast-paced settings
- Ability to travel ~30-50% to headquarters and congresses; meet credentialing requirements including background checks, drug screens, immunizations
