What you will do

• Take full ownership of the Labstep platform architecture, deciding on major shifts and implementations.
• Lead the AI roadmap, building production-ready AI features like AI Search, Natural Language Agents, RAG, LLMs, and Vector Databases.
• Mentor a Junior Developer and collaborate with a Technical Product Manager to set engineering standards.
• Manage AWS-based infrastructure using Pulumi, ECS, Fargate for high availability and security.
• Evolve the fullstack: PHP/Symfony/Doctrine backend and React/TypeScript frontend.

Requirements

• 5+ years leading development teams
• 5+ years as architect
• 5+ years AWS DevOps experience
• Experience with PHP 8, Symfony, Doctrine API, React, TypeScript
• Comfortable across fullstack and infrastructure, scaling production web apps
• Pragmatic approach to building AI features solving real scientific problems
