What you will do

• Define and evolve the brand’s public voice and engagement strategy on high-signal platforms like X, LinkedIn.
• Build editorial calendars, tone-of-voice guidelines, response protocols, and escalation pathways for reputation management.
• Partner with CEO and Founder to elevate their LinkedIn presence and professional footprint.
• Lead responses to emerging issues using social listening, trend monitoring, and analytics.
• Deliver weekly insights to leadership and collaborate with marketing, content, and agency teams.
• Mentor early-career communications talent and provide on-the-ground support in New York.

Requirements

• 6-9+ years in external communications, direct-to-community engagement, or social-first reputation roles.
• Deep fluency in X (Twitter), Reddit dynamics, and LinkedIn executive positioning.
• Proven experience managing high-visibility issues or crises in public environments.
• Track record building systems, workflows, and measurement frameworks from the ground up.
• Experience advising senior executives or high-profile leaders.
• Demonstrated success mentoring early-career communicators.

Nice to have

• Experience shaping employer brand or culture storytelling on LinkedIn (video formats a plus).
• Background in entertainment, creator economy, media, gaming, or agency environments.
• Familiarity with social listening and sentiment analysis tools.
• Experience coordinating with PR agencies and managing press relationships.
